چکیده

A new coated-wire electrode based on PVC membrane plasticized with dioctyl phthalate (DOP) and containing the diltiazem-tetraiodido bismuthate (III) ion association coated a silver wire was constructed used for potentiometric determination of diltiazem hydrochloride. The performance characterized optimized according to following experimental criteria: composition, soaking time, working pH range, response time. interference caused by different species investigated as well. best composition found be 49.75% DOP, 0.5% pair. This sensor showed linear good Nernstian slope 57.60±1.38 mV/decade over concentration range5.0×10-5 – 2.50×10-2 M, detection limit 2.88×10-5 it usable within wide range 2.5–8.0. fast time (18 sec), relative long lifetime (2.4 months, 2 h day). isothermal coefficient (dE°/dT) calculated 5.36×10-4 V/℃ 20 80℃, which exhibits thermal stability. coted-wire successfully applied hydrochloride both in pure form pharmaceutical preparations. dissolution test drug carried out

Ion Selective PVC Membrane Electrode for the Determination of Methacycline Hydrochloride in Pharmaceutical Formulation

A plastic membrane electrode for the determination of methacycline hydrochloride was fabricated based on the use of methacycline-tetraphenylborate as the electroactive substance, and dioctylphtalate as the plasticizing agent. It was found that the potential responses of the electrode were influenced by pH of the tested solution when pH>3. Under the condition of pH 2.6, the linear response range...
